Blossoms Nursery

Welcome to Blossoms Nursery!

We are the youngest members of Parkdale Primary School, and our learning takes place in our warm and welcoming Nursery classroom. Here, children are encouraged to explore, play and grow at their own pace in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.

Throughout the year, we enjoy discovering a wide range of exciting topics that spark curiosity and creativity, helping children to become confident and independent learners. At Blossoms Nursery, we believe children learn best through active, hands-on experiences, which is why so much of what we do is centred around play, exploration and meaningful learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors.

A typical day in Nursery may include story times, singing, messy play, creative activities, outdoor adventures, snack time with friends and lots of opportunities for children to follow their own interests through play. We take time to build strong relationships with every child and family so that children feel happy, secure and ready to learn from the very beginning of their journey with us.

Children are able to join Blossoms Nursery in the term after they turn three, with three admission points across the year to help make starting Nursery as smooth as possible for families.

We offer a range of session options to suit different family needs, including morning, afternoon and full-day places. Once children begin with us, they attend every weekday during their agreed sessions, helping them to settle confidently, build secure relationships and feel part of our daily routines.

At Blossoms, we value close partnerships with families and enjoy sharing children’s learning and special moments throughout the year. We want every child to begin their Parkdale journey feeling valued, supported and excited to learn.

If you would like any further information about our Nursery provision, please get in touch with the Nursery Class Teacher, Early Years Lead or visit the main school office where we will be happy to help. Copies of our Nursery Admissions Information are also available from the office. If you are interested in applying for a Nursery place, please complete the application form below to register your interest and return this to the school office. Further information regarding Nursery admissions is also available from the office team.

This page will be updated with Nursery news, key information and highlights from our learning, giving families a glimpse into life at Blossoms Nursery throughout the year.
