Science

Our high quality science education ensures that pupils are encouraged to recognise the power of rational explanation. In doing so, we aim to develop a sense of excitement and curiosity around this subject. Our pupils will be encouraged to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring in the world. They will also predict how things will behave and analyse causes. Children will build up an extended list of specialist vocabulary and they will also apply their mathematical knowledge to their understanding of science, including collecting, presenting and analysing data. At Parkdale, we aim to maximise the pupils’ engagement with and motivation to study science..
