The Jungle Book
Years 1 - 4 had an exiting treat this afternoon! They had a wonderful time watching a production of The Jungle Book. A huge thanks to M&M Theatrical Productions Ltd to offering us this amazing opportunity.
Summer Reading
We do not set homework for the Summer holidays. The holidays are a break and a chance to recharge the batteries. However, we really do encourage children to continue to read for pleasure as much as possible. This keeps their skills fresh and helps their vocabulary...

4 Ash and 4 Poplar – Tuesdays and Fridays
Homework
Every Wednesday, children will be set arithmetic homework, we encourage children to show their working out.
There will be weekly spellings (set on SpellingShed) and Arithmetic worksheets. They should be completed during the week and brought back the following Wednesday.
In addition this, children are welcome to complete topic homework from the menu below.
Swimming
The swimming pool is due to arrive and be in use from the 22nd April – 23rd May.

We have now launched our brand new reading incentive. The children need to have read 9 books in total by the end of the year so they can be entered into a prize draw! Don’t forget to write book reviews along the way and collect your bronze, silver and gold awards.
