Statement Of Intent
Our intent at Parkdale is that every child has a built in love for Maths…to know they are good at Maths and to know that it is ok to get things wrong.
By Year 6, we want the children to be using the most efficient methods to solve questions…and be able to explain why.

Teen-tastic Numicon!
Today we had a super time building teen numbers with Numicon. We learned that teen numbers are “ten and something more”. It was great fun seeing how quickly we could find the missing piece to make teen numbers. WE LOVE NUMICON!
Year 4 Times Table Test
Year 4 have been working hard all year on their times tables ready for the official Times Table test that all Year 4 children will be completing this month. We will be doing the test, week commencing 20th June. Please make sure your child is practising every night....
