Year 3 Sphero Experience

Year 3 got the chance to play with the Sphero balls. They were given a range of challenges to complete in their pairs. These gave the children plenty of opportunity to code their Sphero and after a short thinkering session the children were able to get them from one place to another, spin, change direction, change colour, show different animation, jump and speak. 

We were also lucky enough to have some Yeaer 6 digital leaders attend our workshop and they happily showed the children how to play Simon Says with the Sphero. The children absolutely loved experimenting with different coding combinations. Don’t forget to check out our reflections and videos below!
