Year 2 have had a lovely afternoon learning about Chinese New Year. The children learnt why is was celebrated, how many days it was celebrated for and explored the animals that appear in the Chinese calendar. They had a go at saying; dog, monkey, chicken, rabbit, dragon and sheep. We finished the afternoon drawing some Chinese dragons. See our wonderful drawings below.
