Many, many thanks to all who donated to support the sponsored walk I (Mr H) was on last weekend. As a dedicated cyclist, quite happy to ride 100 miles+ at a time, I’ve realised that 22 miles is a long way to walk – ouch! 55,000 steps, even with my long legs!

My team managed to raise £3,000 for the Hillsborough Survivors Support Alliance and overall the total was something around £26,000. This will enable the support lines, groups and therapy programmes for those suffereing post traumatic stress disorder to continue to run for another year.

A number of you contributed to that, either through the Just Giving page or via the bucket, so kindly looked after for me at the Fair by a band of Year SIx children. For that, many thanks.
