This term we are exploring people, culture and communities in the UK and beyond. We are thinking about the value of Respect and celebrating our diverse place in the world. We began this week by talking about England.
We have found out about the Angel of the North, Stonehenge, Tudor Roses, Alfred the Great and Guy Fawkes. We have been painting and replicating statues in dough. We even used rulers to draw crosses on flags. We also had a delicious time trying Victoria Sponge, cups of tea and Yorkshire Pudding!
