As I am sure you are already aware, our Key Stage One Sports Day (for Years 1 and 2) will take place on Thursday 14th July at 9.00am.
Please ensure that your children wear their PE kits on this day and that their t-shirt is of their house’s colour.
Children will also need to bring:
- A sun hat if weather conditions are bright and sunny
- A water bottle clearly labelled with their name
If it is needed, sun cream needs to be applied at home before children come to school.
Parents, carers and family members wishing to attend the event will be asked to wait on the school playground until the second bell has been rung and ALL children have entered the school. You will then be able to take your seats alongside the running track. The children will be sitting on the opposite side. For health and safety reasons, we politely ask that all adults stay on the seated side of the field and do not cross over or walk round the back to the children at any time. Your child will be sitting with a teacher at all times. At the end of the event, there will be an opportunity to congratulate and take photographs of your child. **Photos are for your own personal use only. Please do not share on social media as there are children in our school we need to protect.**
We anticipate good weather for the event, however, if the weather is poor then we will endeavour to re-arrange Sports Day. We will notify you of any postponement by text message.
