Please let me introduce to you Rev Richard Byass, Methodist Minister who will be supporting our Faith Assemblies once per half term in school.

Rev Richard came in to school to lead our Harvest Festival service with a fabulous story linking harvest to apples and how one good or indeed bad apple can affect the rest of the group; linking beautifully into our school values of kindness.

Rev Richard and his colleague Deacon Helen Snowball have links to the Carlton Community Hub Foodbank based at Main Street, Carlton (in the old Methodist Church building) which is run by the amazing volunteers of Hope Nottingham and is open on Tuesdays and Fridays between 12 and 2.45pm.

Mrs Chalmers and Mrs Cooper took a large family estate car FULL of your amazing donations to the food bank and they were thrilled to see us.  They were amazed by the generosity of the families of Parkdale Primary School and wanted us to pass on their sincere thanks for your support at this  difficult time.

We loved having such a wonderful assembly and we at school are grateful for your continued support for the community work we do through school.  Thank you.
