European Day of Languages

Other than Nursery – well done Miss Parkin! – we didn’t report back on the recent European Day of Languages Themed Day which all children participated in. Each teacher/classroom hosted a different language and children travelled around getting their passports stamped in various countries. There, they children enjoyed learning a bit about the culture, traditions and languages of their host country. This was a fun time ‘off-curriculum’, with most if not all going for a very creative and crafty approach. Many of the children reported that they also really loved the change of scenery and being taught by a different adult, variety of course being the spice of life!
