Diwali day itself falls on Monday 24th of October this year, when we are on half-term. We will be marking Diwali with an assembly on Monday (17th). The children will learn of its importance to Hindus, Sikhs and Jains.
Apologies for the short notice, but if any of our Hindu or Sikh or Hindu children would like to wear traditional clothing for the day, maybe showing off their Diwali finery, they would be very welcome.
