Welcome to Bulletin #24…
Welcome to the second half of the Spring Term.as we go ‘to press’ on Friday morning, it’s bitterly cold but the sky is blue and today is the last day of Meteorological Winter. It’s a very short half-term and the Easter break will be with us before we know it. There’s a lot in the diary and plenty to cram in. We’ll do our best to keep everyone as well informed as we can via the bulletins, starting with this one. There’s a very sporty theme running through it as Mrs Rippon has gone on a posting-spree, sharing what our super-active children have been up to. Anyone else with sporty or other ‘being active’ news to share with her, please feel free to drop her a line.

Lime Trees
We’re aware of quite a few families needing more before and/or after school care for their children. A reminder that Lime Trees offer a Breakfast and After School club https://thelimetrees.co.uk/
Emails
We are changing the way that we send communications out. The reason for this is twofold. Firstly we are having to introduce a new information management system as our current one (Scholarpack) is being withdrawn from service by the provider. Secondly, texting costs us significantly more than emailing!
You will be receiving more emails rather than app messages/texts and we will have a new app coming out in the Summer term. This briefing will be sent out by both so if you haven’t received it by email please let the school office know your email so we can update your records. office@parkdale.notts.sch.uk
Two updates from Year 6;
A reminder about Year 6 Leavers hoodies. They need to be ordered by Monday 3rd March. We have a letter on our Year 6 page and this is the link to the website to order from:

Additionally, we need to change the date of our Year 6 SATS meeting to Monday 10th March (should have been Monday 3rd) due to the book fair being in the hall. A letter is going out this week with the details on and we will also put the letter on our web page.
