Welcome to Bulletin #8

We’ve made it (nearly) to half-term. Well done everyone! I’ve had to go a day early with the bulletin as I’m working away from school tomorrow, Friday. I’ll just take the chance to wish everyone a lovely week. For me, it’s another football adventure; 1FC Koln away at Dortmund in the Bundesliga and then at home to Bayern in the cup midweek. Both should be somewhat intense. A relatively local derby at one of the great ‘bucket-list’ stadiums and then the cup match which had something like a quarter of a million ticket applications, such is the excitement!

We do have a school event during the break – for the first time ever, our table tennis players are competing in the county championships, which for some reason have been arranged for the holiday. This is a real development in our table tennis journey. We’ve not had many players coming through capable of playing at this level before . Now we’ve plenty of strength in depth and have lots of strong players to choose from. I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing good luck to our two teams; boys and girls.

Take care everyone. Stay safe if you are travelling and we’ll be back on Monday the 3rd.
