We’ve decided to make the traditional non-uniform day for children in the term’s leading house into a half-termly event. The children were keen so why not?!

As previously, we’ve taken the total number of points won and divided by the number of children in each house – this evens up a few small discrepancies in numbers that arise as children come and go.

Whichever way you measure it, it is very close. This is pleasing as it suggests the system is fair and balanced and that any house could win. Of a total of 3000+ house points awarded, there is only 50 between the first and fourth placed houses and only a tiny fraction of a point when done ‘per child’.

So, to cut to the chase….

The leading house for this half-term is Rufford, the blue house. Hence the photo of Rufford Abbey, if you recognised it!  Rufford children can have a bonus non-uniform day on Friday.
