Today we celebrated Diwali in nursery! Children were encouraged to come in celebration clothes, and the room was filled with colour and excitement. We made our own Diya lamps, designed Mendhi patterns, and created Rangoli patterns using Numicon.
We were also lucky to be visited by a Year 6 pupil who celebrates Diwali. He shared the story of Rama and Sita and told us how his family celebrates at home. A lovely day of learning, creativity, and celebration.
