Welcome to Bulletin #4

Don’t the weeks fly by! Here we are at the end of another busy and enjoyable one in school. The children have settled into their new classes and the year feels properly ‘in full swing’. The children seem to be thoroughly enjoying accessing Parkdale Pines and looking around it is very obvious that we are getting them to be much more active in their days – we’re aiming to at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise per day on top of breaks and PE. Again, the feedback from children is really positive around this.

It was great to see so many parents and carers at the recent meetings hosted by each year group. We’ve not routinely done these before; they arose from feedback received in the end of year survey, so thank you for that. The turnout was fantastic, with some classrooms full to bursting point. We hear that  people found them useful, so they’ll be something we’ll make a regular feature from now on.
