Welcome to the latest bulletin and news round-up…
Another busy week in school, but a thoroughly lovely one. It’s always great to see the children out enjoying themselves on the field at breaks and they’re certainly making the most of it. The extra space makes a huge difference to them. Staff, meanwhile, are busily getting reports ready to go out in a couple of weeks. They put a lot of time and energy into these, especially the personal comments, which our community have told us is the bit that is most valued. I’m in the process of reading and putting my comments on each and every one – apologies if my handwriting is even scrawlier than usual, but I’m having to work around a broken finger. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!
Mr H
It’s the Summer Fair today. We hope to see lots of you at school for this important and enjoyable fund-raiser!
Some confusion arose today (Friday) over who was due a non-uniform day. We have to admit, we’re having to make it it up as we go along! No problem though and it’s certainly not something we’re going to stress about. The latest update here:
The inter-house cricket festival was a great success with a lovely turnout of supporters on a beautiful evening for it. A report to follow, no doubt. The winners – presented with the ceremonial bat-trophy and a fantastic goody bag each from Notts CCC, were Rufford, the blue house.
