Welcome to Bulletin #1
We’re back! Welcome to Bulletin #1 of the new school year. We hope everyone had a lovely Summer. It has been great to see the children again and it has to be said they are all looking super smart. Thanks so much to everyone for the great effort with uniform. More on that further down the bulletin.
Talking to the children and staff, it really does seem that the change to class-moves at the end of the Summer term has been very beneficial, with a much smoother, happier transition.
The Hall renovations are coming along pretty much to plan and we expect to be able to have full use o0f the Hall back no later than next Wednesday, which would be handy as we have a travelling theatre company in as a treat for Years 2 to 6. All the fancy technology to go in there won’t be attempted until October half-term, which is when the very lovely historic parquet floor is due for a full restoration – the dust created might be problematic for the tech!
Finally from me, thanks to all who have been so kind with their comments over my retirement announcement. I’m glad that’s out of the way, so we can get on with delivering a fantastic, productive, fun-filled year.

Congrats to Miss (now Mrs) Parkin
We are sure you will join us in sending your love and best wishes to our Nursery teacher, Darcie Parkin, who married in the Summer holiday. No surname change to remember as far as school goes, just Miss to Mrs!
