Last week, our Year 5 children enjoyed an unforgettable residential trip to Ravenstor Youth Hostel near Buxton. We had a fantastic time taking part in a range of exciting outdoor activities, including abseiling, climbing wall challenges, zip lining and one of the highlights of the week — rocket launching!
Throughout the week, the children showed great teamwork and encouragement towards one another, working together to overcome challenges and support their friends. Many pupils stepped out of their comfort zones and achieved things they had never tried before, making us all incredibly proud.
To make the experience even better, we were lucky enough to enjoy glorious weather for the whole trip, allowing everyone to make the most of the beautiful surroundings and outdoor adventures.
It was a wonderful week filled with fun, laughter, resilience and memories that will last a lifetime!
