Our recent overnight residential stay was a fantastic experience for everyone involved and the children made us incredibly proud throughout the trip. From the moment we arrived, they demonstrated excellent behaviour, kindness and respect towards one another, staff and the activity leaders.

Across the stay, the children embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and determination. Many of the activities encouraged them to step outside of their comfort zones and it was wonderful to see so many children show resilience when faced with challenges they were initially unsure about. Whether on the water, problem-solving, navigating new environments or working as part of a team, they supported one another brilliantly and refused to give up.

It was especially rewarding to watch confidence grow as the visit progressed. Children who were nervous at first showed great courage in trying new things and many discovered talents and strengths they did not realise they had. Their perseverance, positive attitudes and willingness to encourage their friends made the residential a truly memorable experience.

They must have been exhausted after such a busy and exciting day as every child was asleep by 10.30pm!

The children were excellent ambassadors for our school and should feel extremely proud of all they achieved. We certainly are proud of them and we hope they will remember the experience for many years to come.
