Year 4’s Wonderful Trip to Nottingham
Year 4 had a fantastic day exploring the vibrant city of Nottingham! The adventure began with a journey on public transport, giving the children a real-life experience of travelling safely and sensibly as a group. Once in the city, we walked through the historic Lace Market, took in the sights of Old Market Square and continued on to the Broad Marsh area, noticing how much the city has changed and developed.
At Nottingham Castle, the children were full of excitement. They challenged themselves on the VR bow and arrow games, explored the fascinating art gallery and took part in an atmospheric cave tour beneath the castle grounds. Each activity brought learning to life and helped the children deepen their understanding of Nottingham’s rich history.
We ended the day with some well-earned free time at the play park, where everyone enjoyed letting off some steam before heading back to school.
It was a brilliant trip from start to finish—fantastic behaviour, great curiosity, and lots of smiles all round! Well done, Year 4!
