Last week, our Year 4 children had an unforgettable time on their residential trip to Walesby Forest. We were incredibly lucky to be blessed with dry weather throughout the visit, allowing the children to make the most of every activity and adventure on offer.
The children showed fantastic enthusiasm, resilience and teamwork from start to finish. They especially loved taking part in the water activities, including kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding, where many children challenged themselves to try something completely new. A few got wet, most even, but enjoyed every minute.
Back on land, there was plenty more excitement with laser tag, archery and the assault course, all of which encouraged the children to work together, support one another and step outside of their comfort zones. In the evenings, everyone enjoyed dancing and singing along at the disco, creating lots of happy memories with their friends.
We were so proud of the excellent behaviour, positive attitudes and determination shown by all of the children throughout the trip. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow over the course of the week.
Photos from the residential have now been uploaded to Showbie for families to enjoy and look back on all the fantastic experiences from the trip.
