On Friday the 27th June, Parkdale will be celebrating ‘Good to be Me’ Day along with other schools in Transform Trust. In year four we have lots of exciting activities which we’d like to share with you:
Session 1 – will be ‘Show and Share’ where children are welcome to share with their peers all about what makes them ‘them’. These should have been prepared before the day at home. It may be a cultural or religious item, a talent or hobby, a book, a song, a joke, a photo, a toy that evokes a special feeling, anything
Session 2 – will be a four way split, the children will have chosen before the day which activity from the follow:
- Traditional Board Games – provided in class by Miss Klocek
- Team outside games – with Mr Deakin
- Crafting turtles – with Mrs Stafford
- Snuggle and Read – with Mrs Carlisle (please bring slippers, cuddly toy and blanket)
Session 3 – Painting portraits
Session 4 – Sharing positive adjectives about one another.
