Year 3 had an interesting and informative session at the Materials Recovery Facility in Mansfield to learn all about what happens to out rubbish once it goes into the bin. Lesley, who led the day, commented on how wonderful your children had been, “They are a credit to your school.” We have also heard from the children that, since our visit, they have making suggestions at home to help their families to recycle responsibly. Well done Year 3!
We are now going to put our knowledge together to lead a Year 3 Climate Superhero assembly to the rest of the school in a few weeks time.
