Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic day of Roman history on Wednesday! We dressed up as Romans and welcomed Jed from ‘Up an’ at ’em! History’ (https://upanatemhistory.co.uk/ ) who brought lots of Roman artifacts for the children to explore. We re-enacted a gladiator battle and the Roman court. The children were able to try on Roman armour as well as learning lots of interesting and fun facts about the Romans.
