Save the Date! Parents and carers are invited to join Year 3 for an afternoon session on Friday 28th March at 2:30pm where we will be making eco friendly bird feeders for our Forest School area and school grounds. This challenge has been set for Year 3 by Year 5 in their Climate Action Superheroes Assembly. We would love for you to join us in creating our eco bird feeders. Even if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to contribute by donating any spare natural materials you might have at home that we could use to create the feeders, please see the list below for items that we might be able to use.
- Coconut shell
- Orange peels
- Small clay plant pots
- Pine cones
- Twigs
- Solid Vegetable fat
- Bird Seed (must not contain nuts)
- Twine or natural garden string
Please do not send any plastic or man-made items.
