Year 3 had a fantastic residential trip to Walesby Forest and represented the school brilliantly throughout their stay. The children showed great resilience, determination and enthusiasm as they took part in a range of exciting new challenges. Activities included navigating a dark cave maze, climbing a 25-foot climbing wall, tackling an assault course and working together in a crate-stacking team-building challenge. Many children stepped outside their comfort zones and should be very proud of what they achieved.
We were mostly lucky with the weather despite the forecast, which allowed us to make the most of our time outdoors and enjoy all the activities on offer. The children demonstrated excellent teamwork, encouragement and support for one another throughout the trip. A particular highlight was the fantastic disco organised by the fabulous Walesby Rangers, which provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to celebrate a memorable few days together. It was an experience that Year 3 will remember for a long time.
