YEAR 2 have earned a YES DAY!!!
As a reward for all of their hard work and to celebrate the end of their time in Key Stage One, we have rewarded them with a ‘YES DAY!!’ on Thursday 25th July. This is going to be a day where they can ask for things (within our power) and we say ‘YES!!’. We have already had a year group discussion with the children and below are some of the privileges that we have agreed for Year Two to be treated to on YES DAY.
- Non-uniform day: crazy hair, wear PJs, fancy dress, make up, nail varish.
- Bring 1 teddy or cuddly along with a blanket and a cushion.( these will stay at school until Friday for the movie)
- Bring a picnic (packed lunch) to have lunch with our teachers
- A disco and party games
- Extra play time.
- Put on a child friendly tattoo
We will be enjoying many other privileges in addition to these! Please let your child’s class teacher know if you have any further questions.
Due to the water fight in the afternoon, we will be taking one treat from “Yes Day” and will be saving it for Friday afternoon, where we will enjoy a movie. The children can bring two treats from the following list; chocolate, sweets, popcorn and/or crisps. This only need to be a small amount.
