A letter will be coming home with your child today about the SRE lessons we teach in Year 6, which will be happening week commencing 8th July. There is a statutory lesson which is part of the Science National Curriculum which all children will take part in but the Sex Education element is optional. All the details are explained in the letter.
There is a return slip at the bottom of the letter to complete as you will need to OPT IN for your child to take part in these lessons. If we do not receive the return slip we will presume you do not want your child to take part. These need to be with us by Friday 5th July.
