A number of our Year 5 children have been attending school early on Wednesday mornings to sharpen up their table tennis skills with some coaching and practice. It is fair to say that they have al really made brilliant progress and we hope for them to be able to play competitively at inter-school level and maybe even wider next year.
For the past few weeks, we have been running a competition alongside the training. Next week, Wednesday the 9th, will be the last session of the year and will feature our play-offs to find the overall champions.
Based on league positions, the girls semi-finals will be: Renee v Lauren and Poppy v Everley
The boys semis will be: Manmeet v Danyal and Oscar v Kaiden
These will be ‘best of three’ and followed by a ‘best of three’ final between the respective winners
The session will still be on for other players, who are free to watch and/or play their own matches.
Grown-up of players are welcome to attend to watch or even play themselves!
