Hello one and all.
Well, its been a rather strange week without the boss here! Mr Hillier will be taking it easy this week and deservedly so. We believe he has booked a holiday to Spain for next week. We know that he was overwhelmed with all the cards, presents and kind words that he received last week. His farewell assembly also went down well. The cards that the children made for him were amazing, as was the singing and the Groovy Gang performance too went down well.. Thank you to all. We will all miss him!
Anyhow, moving forward, its business as usual. Its busy, busy…busy this week!
The Book Fair has been here; the swimming pool has been filled with water and children; there has been an extra drumming session; times tables club for Year 4 has been running- as has table tennis and football. Added to that, Year 5’s have had an Ancient Greek day. It doesn’t stop there though. Next week is Science Week, there is another football match and it is World Book Day next Fri to name but a few. Added to that, school feels very nice. The children continue to do what they do best- smile, laugh, use their manners and engage in conversation with the adults.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. Thank you.
