Good Morning everyone!

What a delight to be writing a Bulletin on a sunny day! It is lovely to see children using the field, starting to play cricket in PE and enjoying a less muddy visit to Forest School. We are excited about our author visit next week, and Year 5 will be heading off on their residential, fingers crossed for the same weather!

We have been asked to share a few messages so here they are!!

Aspens (our school dinner provider) have a vacancy https://careers.aspens-services.co.uk/jobs/job/Catering-Assistant/8148

We are super excited to welcome Sandra, our new site manager. She has made an amazing start, is busy behind the scenes and has made herself invaluable already!

Mrs Ward in Reception would appreciate some recommendations for a builder/landscaper who can help us with a path in Forest School. Please email her if you can help rward@parkdale.notts.sch.uk

Thank you for those of you who attended our coffee morning on Wednesday, it was lovely to see you. Our next one is on May 20th, which will be an opportunity to meet our new Headteacher Claire Stafford.

Next Friday we will be saying goodbye to Mrs Roper, after almost 12 years. She has been a loved and fun member of our team, and will be missed by us all. We would like to wish Mrs Roper all the best and our thanks for her years of dedication to the children at Parkdale.

Tables Tennis clubs will restart on Tuesdays after school, and Wednesday mornings, from Tuesday 5th May. If you were a member of the clubs please join us!

Finally Mrs Alex Taylor and Mrs Hayley Rippon have been appointed as Acting Deputy Headteachers for the remainder of the school year. We are both looking forward to working closely with Mrs Paparozzi and finishing the school year with the usual Parkdale creativity, collaboration and pride.

Thank you everyone, have a lovely weekend,

Alex and Hayley
