Hello everyone!

What a busy week it has been at Parkdale! The Year 6s have shown remarkable resilience and effort in their SATs papers. We are so proud of them and hope that they are equally as proud of themselves. Due to very muddy conditions on the field their traditional celebratory obstacle course will take place next week (date tbc).

As I write Year 3 are still on their residential, Mrs Chalmers reports an excitable disco last night! Let’s hope that they all had a good sleep afterwards.

Next Wednesday we will be hosting another Parkdale Coffee Morning in the Hall from 8.50am – 930am. Our new Headteacher Mrs Claire Stafford will be joining us. No need to book, please just pop in via the hall door after drop off.

Next week is Art Week, one of the most enjoyable weeks of the school year! We have attached the family challenge to the Bulletin!

We are aware of some technical issues with the Bulletin not going to parent’s Arbor accounts. This SHOULD be resolved this week, however it does mean that you may have missed the announcement that until September, Mrs Rippon and Mrs Taylor will be Acting Deputy Headteacher.

Have a lovely weekend,

Hayley, Alex and Jenny.
