Hello all,
Another busy week here at Parkdale, as per usual. It has been Assessment Week this week and Science Week too. Today is World Book Day for us, as we write this bulletin. The children are currently snuggling up and reading. It should be another lovely day. Moving on…
A few bits of news:
Mr Chell( Andy) will be leaving after the 27th of March, starting his new Site Manager job at Lowdham. We wish him well and will miss him. All the best Andy. His new school are playing a football match against us on the 16th of March. See below for more details. Which side will he support!!?
Eula Sartain’s funeral will be held on the 27th of March, at 3.00. Please see the bulletin last week for more details. We are extremely sad here at Parkdale and miss her so much already. The Wake follows the funeral at 4.00.
The Boys Football Team played an away match last Thursday at Coppice Farm. It was a tough match- a real battle- played in great spirit. The sun was out and the night was light….and Mr Hillier made an appearance too. Spring is on its way! Eventually, we lost 7-1 but the lads never gave in and, with a bit more luck, could have scored a few more. Well done Lads! There are also more games on the horizon, for boys and girls. The girls are at home to Lowdham on Monday the 16th of March. Good luck girls.
And now, for the rest of the bulletin. Read on and have a nice weekend. Mr Pattison.
