Welcome to Bulletin #22
Another week, another bulletin, another article on parking! That aside, it has been another great week in school, especially with the various ‘tweaks’ to uniform and other activities around Children’s Mental Health Week.
A quick reminder that we’re still collecting tokens at Tesco and we seem to be doing quite well if this photo taken yesterday is anything to go by. Let’s see if we can keep out in front!
Hopefully, you might already have noticed that we’re trying to put on a lot more events for families to come into school. We really want our community to feel part of the school and welcome here. It was great to see so many at the open classrooms put on by Year One this week and also a lovely turnout at the Table Tennis Open Event yesterday evening. On which subject, our congratulations to all four boys who played brilliantly in the cup finals. That’s Champions Cup winner Sean, runner-up Kai (both pictured) and Plate winner Tion and runner-up Jack. Alongside the two finals, we had a dozen families enjoying playing table tennis and enjoying refreshments from Mr Pattison’s cafe. We’ll do this again, for sure.
The next family event is next Wednesday, when Reception host a ‘Pop in and Play’ session from 2::30-3:30
Thanks to all who volunteered for the trial of a new report format. These are beginning to trickle home – some are still to come this week or next – as teachers get them done. Feedback so far is positive and we’ll keep working to refine this.
