Good morning!

What a busy day it is! As I write this morning I can see Year 5 and 6 gearing up for Sports Day! Reception are heading off to the zoo and this afternoon we have the Summer Fayre. Lots of amazing summer fun is coming up!

Next week children will once again visit their new classes on Monday.

On Wednesday, Years 1 and 2 invite their parents to their Family Fun Cricket Afternoon from 2pm on the field. Please come and join us for an afternoon of cricket and games. FOP will be attending and selling refreshments.

On Wednesday evening, the Year 6 performance of Peter Pan will take place at 6pm.

On Friday, our annual water fight is back! Please see the attached flyer for more information.

WORLD CUP CELEBRATION….

FINALLY… now that we are  (almost) down to the final 16 of the World Cup… our whole school sweepstake is back! Each class gets a nation to celebrate… whenever that nation plays the children can wear the colours of that nation’s flag/kit… for example if you have Brazil you can wear green/yellow/blue.. No worries if you don’t have all the colours, or just one, or if you just want to wear your usual uniform. EVERYONE gets to celebrate England and can wear none-uniform on their match days…

Here are the randomly generated teams per class…..

Blossoms -Canada

Bay -Switzerland

Holly- Belgium

Palm -Portugal

Chestnut- Paraguay

Sycamore – Morocco

Willow-Brazil

Elm -Norway

Rowan -Mexico

Poplar-Spain

Ash -France

Maple -USA

Oak (Argentina or Cape Verde)

Beech (Australia or Egypt)

Cedar (Columbia or Ghana)

Thank you all and have a wonderful weekend when it comes!
