The whole school enjoyed an engaging assembly about water delivered by LeAnn from Severn Trent Water. They explored its importance in our daily lives and the need for conservation. Pupils learned fascinating facts about the water cycle, how water is treated, and the impact of waste on the environment. Following the assembly, Year 4 took part in a special workshop with LeAnn, focusing on family water waste and ways to become more water-wise. Through interactive discussions and activities, pupils discovered how small changes at home—like turning off taps while brushing their teeth and using water-efficient appliances—can make a big difference. The session encouraged them to think about their role in protecting this vital resource and share their learning with their families.
