At this week’s meeting of the Full Governing Body, the previously shared draft Uniform policy was ratified. The changes take effect from the 1st of September, so we’d urge our community to read the policy before buying new uniform for next year. Other than the additional of some illustrations, the policy is unchanged from the draft which was recently shared for information and feedback, the key points being:
- a reduction in the number of required items with a school logo
- a suggested alternative supplier with a sustainable and ethical certification for items with and without the logo
- a commitment to implement the policy, including sanctions for non-compliance
This follows a community consultation earlier this year and we thanks families for their helpful engagement with that.
