Clearing out some old paperwork, we came across an old survey document from 1996, part of which is reproduced below. This isn’t so long ago in the great scheme of things (the year Mr Hillier did his first teaching practice here!), but the buildings are mostly unrecognisable. Much of the school was accommodated in draughty, damp old wooden huts and Portakabins and there were some rather grisly old outdoor toilets! Just 4 years later and most of this was gone, replaced by the lovely building we have these days.
