We are delighted to be able to welcome a new teacher into school a bit earlier than we originally thought possible. Earlier in the year, we appointed Miss Gabriella Imrie, to start in September. Miss Imrie was away travelling through South East Asia in the interim. She has come back a little earlier than expected and is available to take up her positi0on here immediately after half-term. This is great news, especially for 5 Maple, who can enjoy having an ‘every day’ teacher again, after a period of being shared between two members of Senior leadership, Mr Pattison and Mrs Hinton. Many of the children already kn0w and like Miss Imrie from her time here last year. There were lots of excited squeals and hugs when she came out to say hello when we were out on the field last week!
Senior Leaders will support with a smooth transition and Mrs Carter has already been working closely with Miss Imrie to help her get off to a flying start; of course, she already knows a lot about how Parkdale works from her previous time here.
We are sure 5 Maple will enjoy a fantastic end to the year, in great care, with lots of learning and lots of fun.
