“The best day ever”.

Certainly, it’s been a memorable, fun morning. We’ve had mass snowball fights – all done thoughtfully and with kindness – snowmen, a new snow-pupil, an igloo, an Antarctic military base and just lots and lots of healthy outdoor play. From Nursery to Year 6, plus staff, we’ve had a (snow)ball!

It was lovely to see all year groups playing so considerately together and full credit to our older children who, despite their own mega-excitement, were especially mindful of the younger ones.

90% of the children made it in today, some a bit later than usual and some making a particularly great effort, especially those who live further away, out of catchment.

Thanks to all who have made it in, including staff of course, some of whom have walked several miles and others who have made long journeys from rural parts, North Notts, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
