Recently we were invited to contribute to The University of Nottingham’s Summer Education Conference on the theme ‘Belonging’. It was such a privilege for us to be asked to share our pupil voices at a big event, where leaders in education would be attending. It sounds like our pupils helped to inspire and ignite some ideas for other schools. We’ve received a lovely thank you card from the team at The University of Nottingham, thanking our pupils. Here are some of the words from the card: “Thank you so much for being part of our belonging conference. You are an amazing, talented and inspiring group of people and everyone who attended learnt so much from listening to you”.
As always, we’re really proud and happy to hear the ways Parkdale helps our pupils feel like they belong.
