We have our very own official podcast channel now on Spotify! We’ve been creating podcasts for a while now and uploading audios onto either our website or via other channels. It’s exciting now that we feature on Spotify as Parkdale Pod. Parkdale Pod was named by some of our Digital Leaders and the art work was jointly designed by them also, with a little bit of help from designing platform, Canva! On Parkdale Pod, our pupils will take the microphone to explore big ideas, share thoughts, and ask curious questions. From school topics and values to everyday adventures, it’s a space for all young voices at Parkdale to shine.
Our first podcast was created on World Book Day with the support of Jigsaw24. We’ve learnt from our first podcast how to use and maximise our special high tech equipment, how to edit audio, create jingles and share the content online. It was lots of fun! It’s been a good learning process for us and we’ve already evaluated our first episode. For future podcasts we’ll try some shorter episodes and ensure we are close enough to the microphones throughout to get that really clear sound and volume throughout. If you have any suggestions for episodes, don’t hesitate to share these with us.
