We have been informed of some recent incidents involving several adults males approaching children around the Sneinton Dale area and would ask that you remind everyone to remain vigilant please – children, staff and parents. We do not know if these males are the same but the Police are aware. All the children, who were not Parkdale pupils, are safe and took immediate action.
25 January 2022 – Incident regarding a man approaching a child outside of school around 6pm asking if she wanted to go to his house to see his puppies!
27 January 2022 – Approx 8:30am, on Sneinton Dale near ‘Scoops’, two girls were approached by two men in a small grey car. One man asked if the girls wanted to come with them. The man who spoke had light-dark skin, spoke with a Nottingham accent, was wearing ‘builders clothes’ and appeared to be in his 40s. The police are aware.
Additionally, children have repeatedly made reports of a man exposing himself, having his trousers round his ankles, on the area known as ‘the mounts’ and sometimes has a dog. This male has brown hair and described as middle-aged. The Police are aware and the local authority have been informed.
