SUSTRANS BIG WALK AND WHEEL 24 UPDATE
We participated in SUSTRANS Big Walk and Wheel to School fortnight, logging daily active journeys to school. Over the 10 days Parkdale children made a total of 1,884 active journeys, with a daily
average score of 49.76% of pupils travelling actively. The overall leading class was 3Rowan with a total of 215 active journeys. Well done 3 Rowan.
In the East Midlands and East (large primary) area of the country we came 100th on the leaderboard.
We will soon get our new scooter and cycle shelter, something that we hope will encourage more children to travel actively to school.
