We had a wonderful time celebrating creativity, springtime joy and the spirit of Easter in our annual Easter bonnet parade this week.
Here are just a selection of the winning hats which you can see come in all shapes and sizes. We had dinosaurs, Minecraft, Minions and hats made from the feathers and egg shells of beloved pet hens – you see it all at the Parkdale fashion event of the year.
Thank you to Friends of Parkdale for contributing the chocolate treats and for Rev Richard who started our parade off with a welcome and prayer. Thanks also to AiT for loaning the sound system ( I am assured you could hear better this year). And finally thank you to you the parents and children for all your creativity and making such wonderful hats and bonnets.
