From the first day back after Easter, we will be using a new management information system in school, the main change for families being that we’ll have to use a new app for communications. We can hear the groans and the gnashing of teeth already and it’s the same for us staff in school too as we have to wrestle with new systems to do all sorts; registers, medical records and special needs, incident logging, internal communications, behaviour, house points, reports, the lot. We are told it will be better for all though.
Unfortunately, Scholarpack is no longer being supported and all schools are having to migrate to a new system, in our case Arbor.
For now, this is just a ‘heads-up’, but look out for more information from the Office team next week, as we have to be ready to ‘go live’ on the first day back, Tuesday the 22nd April
