Monday is forecast to be wet, to say the least! Tuesday looks only marginally better

Looking on the bright side, we’ll take that as an opportunity for a bit of fun sploshing in puddles for those that want to. Whether Year 6 are still up for that, only they know, but for our younger children it might be quite appealing! A bit of a wet adventure in Parkdale Pines might be nice too…

Whatever, parents/carers and children should feel free to use their judgement regarding footwear. Wellies are very welcome. It is fine to bring something cosier to wear indoors if that suits, even slipppers!

We’ll leave it up to you to do what is best for you and your child.

If it’s raining heavily at the start of the day, as looks very likely, we’ll just let everyone straight in from 8:25 – no waiting for bells!

Finally, for those who drive to school, remember there might be a bit more traffic and parking might be trickier – quite often some people who normally walk in will choose to drive if the weather is bad. It might be worth allowing a bit more time. Please remember we still have no crossing patrol and resist the understandable urge to pull up and drop off right by the main gates!
