We are celebrating with Pudsey this year on Thursday 12th November and Friday 13th November.
On Thursday, we will be taking part in The Pudsey Mile travelling round the school building 4 times in various energetic ways! Children are encouraged to adapt their uniform to include spots, yellow or (if you already have it ) any Pudsey merchandise. Everyone will be wearing PE kit on this day to make taking part in the jog easier. We have registered this run with the local radio and if selected we may appear on the local round up on the appeal night on Friday 13th.
Families are encouraged to make donations to the appeal on ParentPay so that we can calculate how much the Parkdale families have raised. The ParentPay link will be shared with you nearer the time.
On Friday 13th November we are doing two things in school that will require children to bring some change into school with them.
- The teachers are treating the children to a ‘Lip-Sync’ battle. The teachers will perform and the children will need to pay with a coin (of your choice) to vote on who they liked the most and who will perform again!!
- The Wellbeing Warriors are doing a bake sale after school and so children (or parent and carers) will need change to buy the biscuits and cakes.
All monies raised from these activities will be added to the total collected by the school.
